Reports in the media that we are looking to sign him.

What do you guys think? I know this has already been mentioned on the transfers thread. Do you think there's anything in this rumour?

This done deal stuff is getting old now.

I'm not in the know anymore, and when I do hear information I don't share it on here anymore, purely because of the not606 police brigade.

If you just posted the info, without claiming to be 'ITK', you'd have got an easier ride.

The HDM are saying we're interested.

Yes he's getting on a bit, yes he's slow and got relegated last season but he's experienced, committed, great in the air and free.

He'd make it 7 CB's, so I think a factor in him coming in might be one of our existing lower choice CB's moving on. Maybe Figgy or Bruce?

Personally, I think he would be a terrific signing. He's very strong and has a good head on him. As bigfattiger eluded to, he may be slow but his other attributes make up for it and with his experience it will do our younger CB's a world of good learning from him.

Get him signed up.

So it's a done deal done deal from you then?

Sounds a bit like a certain Mr. Faye who we've just dumped !

Crystal Palace have emerged as the new favourites for Brede Hangeland's signature after a steady run of bets today. Hull had headed the betting, but the Eagles are now ahead of them at 11/10, pushing the Tigers out to 15/8.
