I guessed no one would pay 31 m .I was trying to make light of bad news . I also remember ian Bolton he was a great servant of the club , very few players like him around now.
According to Italian Twitter Guy, we're after this goalkeeper who has just finished a spell with Inter Milan... http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/luca-maniero/profil/spieler/176182 Italian Twitter Guy was extremely accurate with his info when the Pozzos took over & started sending players our way...
USA it's Troys humor, he's asking for enlightenment as to where he's going and for how much? In other words rumors are rumors and he's not gone anywhere (yet).
Amazing what a translator can do for some text. http://www.lanacion.com.py/articulo...rtunidad-de-volver-al-club-de-mis-amores.html
I can but imagine.. makes perfect sense in Spanish but I guess his love of 9" behind could be translated very roughly!!!!
Cardiff City Podcast ‏@CardiffCityPod Rumours that Cardiff have made an improved bid for Watford's Ikechi Anya. I do wish they'd bugger off.... Especially this mob - they are complaining about clubs trying to buy Medel from them 'on the cheap' & below their own 12M valuation of him, yet are quite happy to offer ridiculously low amounts for our player...
More speculation. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...mber_nine_and_we_will_make_sure_we_sign_one_/
I think that if Arry has lost interest it is because the sale of Loic Remy to Liverpool for £8.5M fell through. Reports say that he flew to USA to join up with Liverpool, but failed the medical. He will now join up with QPR again, but the expected income has been lost. I wonder who paid for the flight to the States?
Not only the flight, he was left there nearly a week by Liverpool before the medical. On Deeney, from stories I've heard and from evidence it appears he is happy to stay and isn't going anywhere. Nevertheless with the right price our owners will sell and the evidence in us signing another striker suggests he will eventually go; we will hear more after our deals are complete I guess.
You could be right Chris, but as the club have tried to get the players in earlier this time, I wonder if the new striker is being brought in with the idea that Deeney might go, not now, but January. Just a thought.
Redknapp would say he is interested in anyone mentioned to him! Would Deeney play up front with Austin or be a sub?
In fairness, we've been surprised by the number of players we have ben linked with this season. Being the "sexiest" of the newly promoted clubs due to finances and the media love in with Redknapp those poor sods are being linked with anyone who ever signed a professional form. It must be driving them mad .
Do you think Deeney can make the step up to the PL Dan? I really like him- he's always looked exciting.
I think he could Grifter - powerful, quick and definitely knows how to score. I know a lot of your fans are not ahopy at the price tag - i get it but that's what the going rate is now. Leicester and Fulham have set the benchmark there! I can see you lads creating chances and if you do then he'll put a few away in my opinion.
Cheers for the info Dan. I must say I agree- whenever I've seen him he's looked strong as an ox. Like a rock with waves of defence crashing off him. Obviously it's a bit steep, but you'd be welcome to the £9million in my opinion. He'd be the most exciting signing of the summer for me, and would more than justify his price tag if he kept us up.
But his game covers so much more than that - and the build up to the first goal in this clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szoGgVRoPps - is a perfect example of how he sets up almost as many goals as he scores. And then there are his defensive qualities.... A snip at £10M IMO.
