Yep, he's a decent player and we don't really have anyone in his style. Not seen him play for a while, don't know if he's still up for it though?
This is well worth a few moments of your time. http://fromtherookeryend.blogspot.f...=Feed: WatfordFC (Watford FC ... Latest News)
Linked to Frimpong once of Arsenal. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/11357077.Watford_consider_move_for_ex_Arsenal_midfielder/ I'd rather not sign him - a liability.. Our discipline would get worse with him in the side!
Some comments on the WO that he is not wanted. However, he could be ok back up, would he count as 'home grown?' He is young with a point to prove, Wenger must have seen something in him...
Just consulted The Oracle (that's Mrs H-F) and her first words to my question of "Frimpong" was "stupid arse and Arsene was right to get shot of him..." After about 6 more sentences of tales of woe she added "gifted player". For those of you who don't know, she's an Arsenal STH. Sounds like Diakate meets Ballotelli... not sure that's the sort of potential for mischief that we need.
From Twitter:- Watford are closing in on the signing of Bolton midfielder Keith Andrews. #watfordfc #bwfc
Watched him make his home debut agaisnt the scousers. he was everywhere for the first 70 minutes. loads of enrgy and commitment but then put in a ridiculous foul to gt his second yellow. It would be fun but I think we've had our fill of that kind of entertainment!
Don't you just love Twitter. #watfordfc in talks with #NUFC midfielder Sylvain Marveaux. According to Sky Sports, Bolton Wanderers' Irish midfielder Keith Andrews is on the verge of leaving the club to join fellow Championship side Watford, who want Andrews to replace QPR-bound Sean Murray.
It might be worth keeping a list of the number of players we are linked with and where some of ours are going.
