`Bot translates that tweet to mean that Cristian Rodriguez is very close to signing for Sunderland.`

Found this on the Euro live transfer feed.

Much has been rumored on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean on the future of Uruguayan player Cristian Cebolla Rodriguez from Atletico Madrid. What has sounded stronger links with Sunderland in the Premier League, especially after coach Gustavo Poyet publicly manifest that 'love' to your participation in the team.
In these last hours the approach of the British group Onion is imminent from the presence of the contractor Francisco "Paco" Casal in London, with finalizing the agreement.
Universal Radio Montevideo said that "the Uruguayan Francisco Paco Casal contractor is closing in London transfer to Sunderland Rodríguez Onion", which is an express request of coach Gustavo Poyet.
The output of the wheel Rodríguez mattress set is not surprising if one takes into account the few minutes in which he was part of the first team last season, holding hands with their desire for continuity in European football.
Casal taking steps for days in various markets of Europe, Portugal, Italy, England, though priority has always been the team that technically oriented Gustavo Poyet. Eastern coach was pleased by the desire Rodriguez play in the Premier, one of the few which has not been in his career.
"He's desperate to be in a club where he can play week after week. There are lots of positive things, but there is something to be achieved, agree a deal before having a player like him available, "news agencies cited a Poyet from London. Now, as the player continues even training with Aleti, the parties are close swiftly.

excited now

I wonder if this will end our pursuit of Borini, Rodriguez is a left winger which is where Borini played last year, not sure we'd sign both of them

Be ****ing fantastic if we did though <laugh>

I wonder if we're looking to shift AJ ........

I hope not. He is one of our best players comfortably. Surround with better players and I reckon he'll shine.

Rodriguez, aj and a n other as our attacking midfield 3 excites the **** out of me.

But we do need a defender or 2

Could we be considering moving AJ inside? Personally don't know if I fancy that, but he does have an unreal first touch at times, good for a central player.

How is Rodriguez as an off the bench impact player? AJ is very good, if they both have the knack of changing games, maybe they're just going to share the position throughout the season taking turns or stints on the bench to give us some real quality to introduce.

Sounds good and it would be a good thing to have quality swapping and I think also game changes. <bubbly>

@SAFCsource
Cristian Rodriguez did not travel on Atletico Madrid's pre-season tour with his Sunderland move edging closer. http://bit.ly/1qFDj4g ‪#‎SAFC‬

I've never seen him play Vince, well not that I can remember, Saw a few Atletico games last season but there's so many Rodriguez's kicking about :p. I can see he's got a pedigree though, but I do need to rely in people who know of him. It's not an Exciting signing for me, it's more of an intrigue signing. Can't wait to see him.
