So he has BB. Guingamp have an option to buy him at the end on the season and regard him as part of their "ambitious program to recruit quality players."
"We also understand the Hornets have ended their interest in ex-Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong." Watford Observer
Nigel Pearson will have to break Leicester City's transfer record for the second time this summer to sign Watford striker Troy Deeney. Pearson, the Leicester manager, has been quoted a staggering £10 million by the Championship club for Deeney after two offers were rejected. Leicester have already broken their previous record which had stood for 14 years after paying £8 million for Brighton's Leonardo Ulloa, who officially completed his move on Tuesday. And Pearson is weighing up an improved bid of £8.5 million for Deeney in the next 24 hours, with the promise of add-ons taking the deal up to Watford's asking price. Daily Telegraph
Would be a good addition I think, as mentioned above...http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/11360170.Watford_hopeful_of_landing_experienced_midfielder_on_loan/?ref=ar
Not another one.... http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/fo...iff-battling-for-1-5m-Watford-ace-Ikechi-Anya
Have any other clubs been rumoured to ask after the players. Troy Deeney - Leicester City, Burnley, Norwich City, Aston Villa, Queens Park Rangers, Everton Ikechi Anya - Crystal Palace, Sunderland, Cardiff City Sean Murray - Queens Park Rangers
Again we will want to try and can keep our quota of home grown players up so won't sell unless its a silly offer... Plus he's one of our better players...
as we all know everyone has there price but anya would be 5 m+ he has helped in no small way to turn Scotland form around , What did they do in the 6 games before he started and his 6 games for them ?
http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...striker_in__final_negotiations__with_Watford/ - will add more speculation to the Deeney rumours I suppose....
I have noticed that http://www.football-rumours.co.uk/watford-rumours.php is now taking all their Hornets information from the Watford Observer.
Just spotted this on Twitter:- Troy Deeney ‏@T_Deeney 31m Just to check with the people congratulating me on my move... We're have I gone and how much for?? I need to tell my mom the good news
I had just seen that BB and really have no idea what is happening. The WO says that the club have not accepted a bid and as usual the club say nothing until after an event. Burnley and Leicester did put in offers we know, but where do all the other rumours come from?
Am I reading this right 31 million . lol its a sad day for us . but life goes on , and I will still be going to as many games as I can on my trips to the uk
No - it was taken from a message on Twitter - the 31m refers to how old the message was - 31 minutes.
