There is no way we get Milner.

Cahill would be good fun off the bench, but we need a rock in CM to pull us out of our 3-4 year malaise.

I reckon we need someone more reliable than Rodwell.

How much do you think Milner would sell for? I was thinking about 12 before I read that article and saw that City bought him for 28. Wow. He's not that good...

Milner was class for Villa before joining City, he's just a utility player at City now though.

Rodwell's a big gamble for any team really, can see him going on loan with no risk to the 'loanee' club.

Surely Poyet's got some ins at Spurs and Chelsea, two teams with an abundance of midfielders who could offer some great loan deals. That Lamela from Spurs is technically brilliant, he needs a season of football under his belt to progress though, and Spurs can't offer him that.

Would love Cahill at the club mate, would he come? Haven't heard much of it over ere last few days... Rodwell is decent, just been mismanaged like wickham in his young days!

I'd ask Spurs about Holtby, I proper rate the lad.

I'd get Dejagah from Fulham too.

Holtby looked good in the Bundesliga but he barely done much at Fulham, Sigurdsson shouldn't be going to a **** tip like Swansea man, somebody needed to snap him up before that lot.

Sig would have been PERFECT for us, but you can't win when the seller wants someone, they will always do that deal.

Sig is very like the Hutch was for us, just an all round decent player, grafts, and a few goals. He'd have been ideal.

Just remembered he'd played for them before as well, he was one of Spurs' better players last season under Sherwood as well (anarl).
