This has just popped up on newsnow, can't say that I've heard of him http://footballleagueworld.co.uk/cardiff-and-norwich-keen-to-sign-arsenal-midfielder/#
hardly an unknown! i can see him going to cardiff. not sure he's better than what we already have from what i've seen
My Arsenal supporting Son tells me that he is not quite good enough for Arsenal but too good to be in the Championship. We would only need him if Tettey is on his way out in any event.
with all due respect to your son, i think he's grossly overestimating his ability as indeed many arsenal fans do with their young players. championship player at best. would be on the fringes at norwich and most top half championship clubs.
I can't comment He has seen him in the first team and reserves and that is his opinion - I have,to my recollection. never seen him play.
JR to sign for Real Madrid for £60M - James Rodriguez that is. Could spark moves for some of their other stars to the PL. Full story here - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...mes-Rodriguez-sign-Real-Madrid-Wednesday.html
David Ospina on the verge of joining Arsenal for £3mil. That will put that Ruddy to Arsenal rumour to bed... Is there anyone else who could come calling, apart from Soton which seems like he wouldn't go there anyway??
Some interesting comments from NA on why Seb Bassong, Luciano Becchio and Mark Bunn are missing on the Italian trip - http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...is_not_neil_adams_priority_1_3694020#cxrecs_s. I don't think they'll be regulars in the squad, even if we don't succeed in selling them during the transfer window.
That's a lot of wages floating about doing nowt JR - we should look to sell if they are not part of Neil's plans to free up cash for players who are....
As one of the comments on the article highlights, very weird comments about Mark Bunn. "I don't want to give too much away to force us to sell players cheap, but Mark Bunn wants regular first team football and he's third choice here" With this new set-up, presumably Adams has little involvement in the sale of players? Fair enough that he's effectively picked the 25 man squad that he wants (give or take a couple of signings and departures), but if we fail to shift Becchio, Bassong or Bunn, have the club alienated them so much that they'll just be sucking wages for absolutely no gain?
I'd guess they could all at least go out on loan, though there's still at least another 40 days in the window left.
My concern exactly and surely better to let those 3 go relatively cheaply than keep paying their salaries!!! VERY pleased to see that Rudd is ahead of Bunn though.
Looks like Harry 'the bankrupter' Redknapp is still after Leroy. Realistically he'll probably want to get back to the Prem. I wouldn't accept less than 8-10m for him though. If we do sell I think we should look to use the money to bring in that illusive CAM (McGugan or Lansbury?) and a new RB. Adams clearly sees Martin as a CB now, so we will need competition/cover for Whittaker.
http://talksport.com/football/redkn...r-hints-move-140721102909#hhdRk3KbZuPVOHGS.99 I know the source isn't exactly credible, but you can see from what Redknapp's said that he's sniffing around. QPR fans comparing their squad with Man City's already over on their board.
