Sutton have thier first league game that day, they are away so, i will be able to see the Spurs game on tv,other half will probably complain though
It's Andros Townsend and Mousa Dembele's birthday today, so the club posted the usual greetings to them via Twitter. Townsend responded by having a dig at Toure and wondering where his cake was! Tottenham Hotspur ✔ @SpursOfficial A very happy birthday to @andros_townsend and @mousadembele! andros townsend ✔ @andros_townsend “@SpursOfficial: A very happy birthday to @andros_townsend and @mousadembele!” What no cake? Haha
Real Madrid actually gave him cake to avoid any toy-pram incidents! please log in to view this image It looks s**t though, to be honest. Their training top also seems to have gone all Teutonic, for some reason. Can't think why...
Didn't Walker post a picture of himself with a candle in a doughnut that was apparently from the club on his birthday.
Looks like a caramel slice topped with jam, cream and creme caramel, although I'm guessing it's not seeing as it's not in Real's interests to give one of their players diabetes.
Our development team played against Southend in a behind closed doors match earlier. But we have asked for the details to be kept quiet. Any ideas to why that might be? Also Southend have our former youth player Roman-Michael Percil on trial.
I'll go bottom layer Beef, next layer Tripe then top layer ham in breadcrumbs. Heart disease over diabetes, but by the time he gets it Madrid will be way past caring.
The club was not at all happy with Southend boss Phil Brown publicising this game on Talksport. The game was behind closed doors for reasons which suited us more than his club. Brown has been around the game a long time and should have known better.
Trialists or the involvement of players who have had injury or fitness issues that haven't been widely publicised, at a guess. You'd think that Phil Brown would want to avoid pissing off other clubs, considering how far his stock's fallen in such a small amount of time.
I reckon we might have some high profile youngsters on trial then. Or maybe Freund came on for the second half.
The fact they cut the cake up before letting him have it should hopefully see him demand a return to N17.
It would not surprise me if they actually did this!... http://newsthump.com/2014/07/02/mls-to-be-renamed-world-series-of-soccer/
Just a thought: if MLS clubs were invited into the Copa Libertadores like Mexican clubs are, wouldn't that be the first time in American sporting history that calling something a World Series actually made sense?
The BBC are reporting that UEFA have currently announced the following edicts : - Israeli clubs cannot play home games in Israel - Russian and Ukraine clubs cannot be drawn against each other This will affect the Europa group stage draw no doubt.
It's always made sense actually. The baseball final series was sponsored by the New York World newspaper so was called the World Series for short. When the paper closed down the name had already stuck.
Sounds like one of the most pathetic excuses I've ever heard!....they must have known the implications! Here is a list of the major sponsors of MLB ( as it's also known) why isn't it named for one of them, as our Premier league is?
