Six of Shakhtar Donetsk's players have apparently refused to return to the Ukraine, following a friendly in France. They're all South American (five Brazilians, one Argentinian) and are looking for moves, due to the problems between Russia and their club's country. Those named are Douglas Costa, Fred (not that one), Dentinho, Alex Teixiera and Facundo Ferreyra, but not the former Atletico Mineiro winger Bernard, who we were linked with. He's probably still on holiday, following his participation at the World Cup for Brazil. There are a number of other Brazilians in their squad, though.
I see your manager is whinging about Sutton's fixture list. I follow non league quite closely and his gripe is justifiable and further evidence that the Conference schedule is done on the back of a *** packet. .
Your right there o.s.a lot of non league fans are not happy,Bromley is just down the road from Sutton,so who do we get over Christmas and new yearWealdstone!

Yes, he was. Nickname "the ghost" because he was so difficult to mark. Always found space, highly intelligent player too. I remember watching him score directly from a corner once. Against Tony Macedo, I think it was.
"50th anniversary of a very sad event. By all accounts a great player." My dad told me of this long ago. In particular the literal stunned feeling many supporters had when it happened.
My dad told me of this long ago. In particular the literal stunned feeling many supporters had when it happened Yes, I remember well the shock and disbelief on hearing the news. A very sad time, so young and so talented. We were all in tears.
I was only 8 years old and had only ever seen Spurs play two or three times on the TV (only cup finals were televised then) but I remember that my parents were shocked by the news as he was widely known to be a truly great player.
Ledley King's made his first move into coaching. He'll be working with the U18s part time next season.
