It's also Gareth Bale's birthday today.

It's Andros Townsend and Mousa Dembele's birthday today, so the club posted the usual greetings to them via Twitter.
Townsend responded by having a dig at Toure and wondering where his cake was!

“@SpursOfficial: A very happy birthday to @andros_townsend and @mousadembele!” What no cake? Haha
Real Madrid actually gave him cake to avoid any toy-pram incidents!

It looks s**t though, to be honest.
Their training top also seems to have gone all Teutonic, for some reason. Can't think why...![]()
Looks like a caramel slice topped with jam, cream and creme caramel, although I'm guessing it's not seeing as it's not in Real's interests to give one of their players diabetes.
Our development team played against Southend in a behind closed doors match earlier. But we have asked for the details to be kept quiet. Any ideas to why that might be? Also Southend have our former youth player Roman-Michael Percil on trial.

It would not surprise me if they actually did this!...

Just a thought: if MLS clubs were invited into the Copa Libertadores like Mexican clubs are, wouldn't that be the first time in American sporting history that calling something a World Series actually made sense?
It's always made sense actually. The baseball final series was sponsored by the New York World newspaper so was called the World Series for short. When the paper closed down the name had already stuck.
