I never said it was mate. It was necessity that created the strategy, however it was consistently proven to work. A small group of pro's who shared and understood exactly what the manager wanted and it was the continuity and team ethic that helped the club over achieve compared to its budget

Now you are treading on very dangerous ground. Any strategy that remains fixed loses its ability to respond to the changes in the environment surrounding it. What appears to be a sound strategy today based upon previous performance tends to limit the ability of the organisation to set itself more appropriate targets.

Can't complain at that to be honest considering initial reports were suggesting £54m. I'd hope he gets a good one. We stuck with him through a hell of a lot and he helped get us back into the CL after years. Yes he has his problems but it was a joy to watch him play. I hope he goes on and does well for Barca to justify his place as one of the top players in the World at the moment.
