Which is still a home-based fan. I live 2 hours away from the Emirates, so in fact i'm actually closer than a lot of English people.
Rightly or wrongly the club is a global brand with a global fan base. The reason PUMA have signed a massive kit deal with us is because of our global reach.I bet the majority of our shirts are sold abroad. The money from those shirt sales is what we're using to buy Alexis Sanchez
Spot on. It's pure hypocrisy to complain that the club is unambitious in the marketplace while also complaining when the club does what it can to maximise profits.
Well Barca can keep him then. What's happened to this club? Even 9 years of being s**t didn't get rid of the plastics, nothing left for it but to take a season or 2 in the championship, weed out the remaining bandwaggoners. Why should some dumb plastics get season tickets when i can't?
How is a plastic getting a ticket when you can't ? You go on a waiting list for a season ticket and when you get to the front of the queue you'll be offered one.Anyone who gets a season ticket before you has obviously been on the waiting list longer. What level of membership are you ?
Still red, still haven't been offered a silver membership, another reason why this club pisses me off so much.
So by living in the real world and refusing to support everything the club does, it makes me less of a fan? Get real man. If the club pulls a bullshit move, i have every right to call them on it, if the club does something right, i'll praise them for it.
I don't know, i only started handling it myself a few years back, i always left memberships and stuff to my family to sort out for me. All i know is i renew each year, and i don't get offered an upgrade. I don't do it the Direct debit way though.
Back to transfers, RAC1 has said that Sanchez has had a medical, despite our media saying that he hasn't even left Spain yet.
How is that done you imbecile? Until he's formally announced, it's not done, and i don't see him in an Arsenal shirt, so its not done.
You try getting up at 2am and going to work/university straight after you prat. I was born in England and all, and I reckon a lot of the fans around here are less 'casual' than what you get back home. I know people who spend thousands of pounds just to fly over and watch a couple of games, they won't sniff at buying the new strip (although once you get above certain age and circumference you look like an absolute tool), and why on earth do you think the TV revenues are so high anyway? On the topic of transfers, am I only one who wouldn't be pleased if we signed Khedira? He's a good player and all, but he looks a bit slight and soft, plus I feel that he'd be more of a inferior ramsey type player (box to box) as opposed to the proper defensive midfield that I think we're crying out for. Haven't seen enough of Schneiderlin to judge, looking through the thread it doesn't look like anyone has tbh, although did read through the report by 7amkickoff (who I guess is a plastic too, being a seppo), which suggested he would be the best option of those that we have been linked with so far.
I said the BBC are saying it's done, not that it is done, Mr. I Hate Foreign Fans Despite Being Foreign Myself.
