Not really cooking much up today, for lunch I think I will have a prosciutto and tomato baguette or something like that, a man can't spoil himself on omelettes everyday.

No, as no lettuce and also prosciutto is nothing like bacon, but the tomato is the same, so you are a third right.
So, a BLT without the lettuce and yer having cured ham instead of bacon. So, yer havin a CHT. That sounds like middle aged wimmin have when goin through menopause.

I am frankly astounded there has been 12 pages of chat relating to omelettes. None of which I can be arsed to read.
That is not to say I'm not partial to the delights of an omelette. I recently invented an omelette. I fried off some chucks of chorizo, spring onions, shallots and button mushrooms and added some hot chilli powder. I then added the egg mixture once it started to form I grated manchego cheese on the top and finished it under the grill.
