Congrats on Sanchez guys, think he'll be quality in the prem. Gutted we missed out on him but not too surprised.

I see Juventus have gone from 12/1 to 2/1 in the space of a few hours

Catalan shops selling Suarez '9' Barca shirts... which is/was Sanchez's number. He's definitely moving somewhere then...

 

What number should we give Sanchez, 13?

 

Doesn't help that four, possibly five, of our first 11 squad numbers are being used by players that aren't going to be first XI material.

 

Debuchy will be a good replacement for Sagan with his prem experience. Sanchez will be a great signing and sort the lwf position.

Saw us linked to Casillas for a backup keeper, any others linked? I'd love to see Casillas come in for our back up keeper position and play all our cup games.

Then any one of khedira, schneiderlin, bender or similar would be a great addition and keep the midfield covered.

And then it's just an additional striker to sort.

If we can get two or three deals sorted in the next week or so we could have a really exciting transfer window...

 

Atletico are apparently about to make a 14m bid for Mandzukic. At that price we should get in there and snaffle him up too

Doubt Wenger will chase another Target man.

 

I'm wondering if we're still in for another CF though ? Sanchez is a world class attacking player but we could still do with an alternative to Giroud.

 

It's hard to imagine that Wenger would bring in a CF if we get Sanchez in. Couple that with Debuchy, a keeper and another midfielder, then it looks unlikely. Personally we should get in another CF, if its an improvement on Giroud and not some Remy type signing.
