    In the far-off past when I started as a junior lab tech at Winchester Hospital, we had a chap called Ernie working there. Every day, whoever made the tea in the afternoon would have to go and shout "Tea Ern!" to all in the lab, to resounding guffaws and cries of "That's a good one!". The ritual lasted the whole 2 years I spent there.

    Bryson (the travel writer) said that the British laugh more than other nationality (even when things aren't funny). For example, how often have we smiled when someone says lovely day when it is pissing down.

    Just signed up for twitter. I was wondering how you can tell the real twitter accounts from the Wannabe attention seekers? I guess those with 12 followers are unlikely to be real, but is there a directory for the Saints players or whatever?
