I say any new player we sign we stick a minimum fee release clause of forty million in their contract regardless of their ability and say you are never going to leave this club for any less and if the object they can **** off. Dejan Lovren has eradicated any respect I had for him as a player or person. In his early days he was touted as a wonderkid and was heavily linked with europe's biggest clubs, his progress stifled and Lyon couldn;t get rid quick enough, these ****s forget that it is Southampton who provided the platform not only for them to get the opportunity to move to CL clubs but in Lallana's case, make them multi millionaires.

Jesus man, we didn't sack Adkins ourselves, the majority fans would have followed our perma-tanned, chirpy, corny catchphrase spewing leader to oblivion and beyond. We were loyal to him even though his decisions were questionable on a regular basis.
We had a proper meltdown, worse than the current Lovren one.

For me we need to sign about 8 players this summer to have a reasonably good squad and are already going to have changed about 4 of our first choice 11. In that position I wouldn't be spending lots of money on someone who isn't significantly better than Boruc (and we haven't been linked with anyone significantly better than Boruc) when I could spend a fraction of that on a capable backup keeper who'd probably play less than 5 games this coming season. If you want to get a new first choice keeper you can look for one next year.

I want to see lovren sold and would rather this than keep him rotting in the reserves. We can do a lot with £20million.
