just a heads up to whoever runs this forum - there doesn't seem to be a way to delete accounts. Might be an idea to include that...I am sure there are others who delete their accounts when they do not wish to remain in a forum, unless it is a girl thing - I know men aren't famous for being tidy ;)

Merry xmas folks - here's hoping we stay where we are. I'll leave you boys to moan amongst yourselves.

That new FIFA ruling has caused quite a stir on the South Coast.

In all seriousness, I hope we let him rot, fine him and basically treat him as woefully as possible after this.

In all likelihood, he will be gone to the "club of his dreams" by Friday. Thanks Dejan mate.
 
I say sell him asap and give ourselves the time to get in targets to replace him. No point having the 'moral stance' these days. The £20m we get for him COULD be vital in how we fare next season when added to the pile.

So what would be at then? £35m + £27m(Shaw) + £4m(Lambert) + £20m(Lallana) + £20m (Lovren) = £105m?? Any more players wanting to be arses??
 
I still can't get my head round the whole situation, its almost like i played at the world cup that makes me instantly to good to play for Southampton so i'm going to refuse to untill i get my transfer. Every season you see 1 or 2 players at various clubs act like this but what the hell has gone so badly wrong for us to be in a situation where at the moment only Yoshi and Gaston look like they are returning from Brazil.

There have been many debates on this site in the past when Adkins was in charge where i was begging us to spend money and pretty much evryone else on here was saying no to much change will **** it up. Now you all want to sell and buy a new team. If we don't sort this problem now we could be facing it every year.
 
I agree with you r.e. when Adkins...... but that scenario didn't leave Guy Fawkes and the plotters band walking around inside the palace!!!!! We had a settled side so didn't want to upset the apple cart. This is taking the rotten apples off the apple cart before the whole cart has to be disposed of.

It's insane.

I had a bet at work, that at least one of Poch, Shaw and Adam would still be here next season. My exact quote was "It's all media nonsense, when was the last time a top half premier league team lost that many key figures in one window"

Well I've lost that bet hard, and who knows where it will end

My bet is on 3 more to go, Dejan, Morgan and Chambers.

A body swaying in the wind, dangling from a Liebherr crane might be better.
 
It would ****ing sicken me to see us lose another one of our top players to Liverpool. It's a ****ing joke. We are just handing a Premier League rival the initiative, all of these players will be playing against us next season ffs.
