Come on TSS. You wrong? Perish the idea. But, doesn't making our own kit make economic sense? Allegedly, the reason we stopped doing so was the drop in sales following relegation(s). Now we are set to become the biggest club in the world (bad decision, Adam et al) this makes sense.
I expect Katharina is embroidering the badges on as we speak. I had to say that, because if you did it would be sexist.
Not convinced by own branding it. Usually leads to poor quality fabrics and a lack of biomechanical engineering (yes, I used to work for Adidas!)
tbf No kit has been produced to universal acclaim...the important thing is that the players are comfortable in it.
Perhaps that's the real root of the problem. The players don't like the look and feel of the new kit, so they're off! Nothing to do with ambition, the number on the back makes them itch. Or maybe its the badge on the front... hence them always touching it.
Is it going to be the (S) brand? I liked a few of those. My favourite shirt is a yelllow Friends Provident one with button coller.
Said on here a while ago that it was when someone started a thread (if I remember correctly) throwing names around and I said no one had got it. I've hinted numerous times that it'd be in-house. And red. Cortese special. From what I was told... training kit is grey for staff, white for players. Red home. Navy away.
Really do not know why they have to make their own, surely it appeals more to fans with a branded shirt, they certainly didn't learn from the last time. Bet they will still want top dollar for it.
