I'm aware. But there were major (potential) sponsors who refused to work with us while he was at the club. Sony, I believe, refused to touch us because of the way they were treated.
i think the point was that we couldn't build bridges quickly enough with high value sponsors after his departure, rather than cortese having signed up a bad deal. efb
