Oh yeah, he was perfectly within his right to cancel with Adidas in my opinion. He just chose to go solo rather than sign with someone.
To be perfectly honest, the kit/stripes/red/white la la la is about 47th on my list of things I really care a lot about for next season. This really is a wait and see, and if it's red with lime-green nipple sandpaper, it'll be **** for a season, but will absolutely pale into insignificance in about five minutes in comparison to what actually happens on the field. Just means less people will buy that one.
Hell. Where are the bodies? Or have they been found and that's why the Don is in hiding? I'm with the "who-cares-it's-the-players-wearing-it" view on kit. I'll buy it so that a) I don't get that "sooooo last season" look from fellow fans and b) my wife can trot out her now annual "another bloody football shirt? You'll still look like a fat old git in it". Harsh but fair, my missus.
Ditto. My wife is from the NW, is yours also? Ps. My birthday is August and my dear old mum (RIP) stopped asking me what I wanted and would just roll out the new shirt. Since she's gone I have had to go back to telling people ... "just get me a Saints shirt" I was never too old in mum's eyes.
Gives a new perspective on that tough cookie, Katharina. May have taken her a couple of years, but she took on the Don and won. Respect
I get that. £60 for that? You bought one of them last year to which I always reply less than half the price of your D&G or Miu Miu **** and probably made in the same factory in vietnam This is then followed by me insisting on wearing it out whenever she is with me, which results in a silent household for a month. Result all round. I get to wear Saints colours through August/September and there is no distraction from Saints from the wife during that period. lol I un-highlighted fat and old because I am only 39 and have the body of a model (the waif like female ones)
Mmm my wife turned thirty-ten last year; her words not mine, in an effort to avoid being old. Seems she still is.
