I guess it'll come as little surprise to learn that I'm a big fan of Steel Panther. I note Flyer included one of theirs in his Des O'Island Discs list t'other day too.

Top man Uber and Flyer. I wanted to post 17 in a row but I guess it's a bit too blue for the forum and may get me into hot water with the powers that be.

Me and a few mates hired a camper type van a few of years back, we drove to the south of France to lake Annecy to watch the trial stage of the Tour De France. Anyway we all bought a selection of music but I had Feel The Steel on CD as my secret weapon. Being it was a lads break this CD became the soundtrack to our three day visit to France, the other CD's did not get a look in. With every listen it just got funnier plus they are also very good musicians.

Queen from 1976 and 'I'm in love with my car', a rarity without Freddie on vocals, Roger Taylor wrote and sung...

There is good music from many era's but have to admit the 70's was a very productive and experimental time and I'm a big fan of this era!

Also the football was pretty good for us QPR fans back then but I was too young so was not able to witness this fine time like some of you lucky people!

And this is the critically acclaimed 'The Four Horsemen' by Aphrodite's Child from their 1972 album '666', a band featuring Vangelis as well as Demis Roussos on vocals. Really an excellent album...
