This is his second innings, of sorts, at Saints, if I'm not mistaken. First go wasn't memorable, which is why I'm nowhere 100% sure he's actually been with us before. Sort of a gut feeling he has. Possibly, an upset gut feeling, at that.

We did have Le Tissier and Rod Wallace on the wings that season, so I can understand him not breaking into the team

I don't claim to know as much as you, but Lee's CV looks pretty good. He survived on the Liverpool coaching staff under 3 managers and then went to Bolton. No one can argue against his experience.

I don't know how many they have, but he's certainly the main one.
