Sammy Lee is definitely a tosser. He may be a good coach, I've no idea, but I don't like what I've seen of him as a personality.
 
Can't say I'm all that impressed by him dumping Brighton in it like that either. For all our moaning about loyalty and contracts.....
 
Lee played a couple of games for us on loan so an extremely loose example of a former player now coaching us! Who needs Dodd and Williams! Now where's that appointment of Ali Dia!

Heard any whispers as to who? Seem to remember somebody staring we were close to both a new keeper and coach which made me wonder if an established pairing were coming in together

Stevie Woods & Fraser Forster from Celtic. Stevie also worked with Artur Boruc whilst he was at Celtic
 
This isn't exactly a prestige appointment, is it? If they wanted to calm the crazies over on the echo forum, they'd have been better off signing one of the Krankies.

Pretty sure that pleasing the fans isn't their first priority...getting the best people (in their eyes) in must be the driving force. However, timing is important and it would be a good idea to announce new players before any more leave.

Quite funny if you read Crook's timeline - about an hour before Lee was appointed he was asked about Lee rumoured to be leaving Brighton for Saints and basically said "not according to anything I've heard".

This is his second innings, of sorts, at Saints, if I'm not mistaken. First go wasn't memorable, which is why I'm nowhere 100% sure he's actually been with us before. Sort of a gut feeling he has. Possibly, an upset gut feeling, at that.
