We all know about his shoddy treatment by the Allams.

That said, isn't it about time that Nick dusted himself down and got back into football? He was a young manager with the world at his feet. He did a decent job in the circumstances and in the end he was sacked in unreasonable circumstances. Not surprising knowing the tossers who employed him.

We see the likes of Neville, Carragher etc...who should be bright and up and coming English managers simply making a career in the media.

We need the likes of Barmby etc getting on the ladder and giving English football managers a future.

    He's from Hull yeah?

Or, of course, your version of the story is not entirely accurate.

Nick is quite happy doing what he is doing at the minute. As far as I know, he's enjoying coaching his lads team and spending time with his family. He wants to go back into football in the near future, but only if the job is right for both him and his family.

Is there any post or thread that you or Stuey don't have a go at the Allams in one way or another, it's getting really boring now

Didn't he say something about us being the only team he was interested in managing?

In an ideal world (and I know this would never happen) I'd love to see SB accommodate him in his back room staff.

he is not interested , happy living life as he is now , if people really think he cares that passionately about the club , ask him who he supported as a kid and what his first season pass was ... it may wake a few of you up ... he really does not care for city and this is not down to the allams before you start bashing

How do you know that? He was adored by City fans. Local boy come home and done well. I remember seeing him in Munich when we won 5-1. Proud as punch for him and the city.

Surely he can get involved again in management.

Because a confidentiality clause can't have possibly be part of his pay off?

Actually, he should never have been given the job as manager..
Should have started off in league 1 or league 2.

Sure glad he was replaced by Steve Bruce who I hope will stay here even IF we go down As he would bounce us straight back up.

I believe there is a clause which prohibits him disclosing any details of the events of that summer in the payoff agreement.

From what I have been told, there is quite a lot he would love to say <whistle>

I knew his Dad when Nick was " a kid " and still know his Dad . Nick always had Liverpool kits on as a youngster.

That doesn't mean he doesn't have a great allegiance to Hull City. He went to Lilleshall as at a young age.

The truth about what happened will never come out. It was part of his pay off that none of what happened on the day was to ever come out.

Lets just say he left the club with his head held high, what happened his his business and of course the club who would be embarrassed by stating what actually happened.

All about opinions but lets just say he had a tantrum and threw his toys out the pram, took the money like always and is now wasting his talent sulking.

Like almost everyone I have no idea what actually happened, but it does seem probable that, in view of the deafening silence from both sides, that there is a confidentiality clause in effect.

On that assumption, why would you pay someone to keep quiet if you had nothing you wouldn't want aired in public?

    Just askin', like.

<laugh> If he had been a politician, ending his career trying to play on his local boy roots and that sort of info came out, our very own pitbull, OLM, would be tweeting and emailing him demanding confirmation ready for his public humiliation and sneering. Still, that story explains why he didn't actually play for us until the end of his career. <laugh>

Ah **** you Chazz, I was going to put that. Seriously, **** you. I would have added in "short fuse" though because I'm obviously more classy than you. :emoticon-0173-middl
