I always find it amusing that the two groups who claim to be most 'victimised' are the same two with whom most people have problems. Namely, black people and Muslims. Where black people are concerned, one need only look at the crime statistics (yes, official ones) to see why native Brits and other white people are still hostile towards them even today, when they constitute a demographic of some 2-3m people across the UK. As for Muslims, our European forebears spent over a thousand years trying to keep Islam out of Europe. Up until recently it was limited to a few small backwaters at the fringes of the continent (Albania, Bosnia, etc). It is abhorrent, mostly, as I'm sure you know, because it has had no significant reformation of any kind. As the rest of the world tries to move on, Islam adheres to millennia-old acts of ritualistic barbarism in the name of 'Allah', and we in England, Scotland and Wales now have them available on our doorstep for sampling. How wonderful. Sure, Muslims have made contributions to Britain - as doctors, firemen, policemen, etc. But Islam has given nothing but problems.

The following thing is misleading; most don't give a toss, really. Those who are bad will be picked up, in time. As a country we have decent standards and respectful tolerance of others. The truth is that our respect and tolerance is, sometimes, not respected, not acknowledged and, just as in your broadbrush comment, turned against us and our very tolerant country. Tommy, be proud of your country, it's not that bad, is it?

you can't sort out everyone's opinions. set your facebook to hide all posts from britain first and forget it. right wing parties always gain ground in times of financial difficulties.

It's far too late for you guys - successive Governments should have put Britain First years ago but your pollies decided to 'strut the world stage' and big note themselves rather than look after the people. Assisted by 'do-gooders' and a battalion of people who have what is commonly referred to as "The British Disease" ("I'm all right Jack - stuff you"!) Great Britain has been given away and it's old world values swallowed up and spit out by minority (at the moment) religious groups and immigrant welfare groups. How many of these people will rise up and bear arms to defend Britain in the event of (heaven forbid) another World War?
Meanwhile, here in Oz, the "Land of Milk and Honey" continues to disappear down the gurgler at the rate of knots as our current Government tells us to 'Work till you drop but continue to pay into superannuation so we get it when you die'! Instead of 'over the counter' rebates for our Medical expenses we now have to wait SIX MONTHS.
Ask yourselves, how come your Government can do these things when by far the majority of people do not want them?

Particularly when these anti Ukip turds are conspicuously silent on Asian grooming, FGM, people trafficking and 'British' men going to fight in Syria.

The justification in rubbishing UKIP is 'our NHS would collapse without immigrants'.

What about weakening other countries' medical services if we are taking their consultants, experts, doctors etc? Does that not negatively impact these countries?

    Why can't we develop/educate our own doctors/consultants/experts/doctors/nurses?

Have we not got the expertise or the colleges, and the willing students?

Surely it's not beyond the powers of government to target an NHS with overwhelmingly British staff?????

At a local level, this recent incident shows why people get frustrated and turn to UKIP

I am well pleased that we have people from overseas working in the NHS.

My 2 specialists at Castle Hill who I also see in scarborough are BLOODY BRILLIANT.

both are Muslim and my lady specialist wears a head scarf all the time.

I bet I am not the only one lucky enough to have been looked after by them .

Ps....the white honkey doctor I had was ferking useless .

Everyone has examples of immigrants doing a good job in the NHS, that isn't the problem. Tiger Roo has offered us an Australian perspective, a similar points based system here would benefit Britain greatly and allow the NHS to continue to recruit abroad if necessary. Why should young English speaking Australians from British heritage find it more difficult to come and work in London then non-English speaking culturally different Eastern Europeans?

Too many bigots on this thread.
We need, just as Italy and quite a few other countries immigration.
We need it to be able to pay taxes'in the future as our existing benefit rich population sucks the pension pot dry.

I suggest any of those who adopt such righteous attitudes on here and other places, visit two or three places.

The Holocaust exhibition in the British War Museum.
    The Balkans, Bosnia in particular.
And perhaps the nearest Military cemetery.

You will see that the fact that your words and acceptance of soft racial discrimination, can all go wrong. Neighbours turning on neighbours, because of their colour or culture. It all starts in this way. Do you really want to see more white headstones in neat lines?
Are you prepared to destroy this country, because of intollarance?

We are still reflecting on events 70 years ago, and some still want to see national socialism. Its beyond belief.

Events 70 years ago preserved our freedom to debate, vote for UKIP and 'like' Britain First sentiments if we so choose.

It's unsustainable- in fact it's madness, importing more and more people to pay taxes for more and more pensions.

    Surely you can see this?

So it was nothing to do with purging the European mainland of Nazi rule. You know, the political view the one race was better than another, that the homeland and its cultures were superior. The people who in the 1930's said the same as is being said by some here.

You see things as you want. One of the outcomes of war was a change in perception. It took a lot of doing, but GB was a state that had religious divide. That is why on civil service job application forms in the past, you had to fill in the box stating your religion, no Catholics allowed you see, but that got changed. It was a crime to be gay, that got changed. We opened the door to the Commonwealth in our hour of need,. We have had sustained peace in Europe. All of this'is what makes this country Great. Drag it backwards if you want, but beware as careless talk costs lives in the long term.

Hypocrisy at it's worse. People idolise sportsmen from abroad, but want people to send all foreign factory works home. What's the difference both just doing there job?

Well I studied Publishing and Media, so it was part of that. And I'd say it was pretty useful, yeah.
