I liked Ince when he was at Blackpool (in fact I remember thinking he was better than Zaha, and most on here agreeing with me, the year we went up and they were the two standout players in the Championship) but what happened at Palace? I wasn't paying a lot of attention admittedly but I didn't even notice him playing for them apart from his debut when he scored. Was he injured or what?

Also people talk about Campbell's infamous dad agent situation but Ince seems worse. Dad driving him about everywhere and all this bargaining of different clubs. They seem to do everything in public. Every transfer window when it's not 'Arry hanging out of a car window it's them two doing a European tour and making it all public.

He's not 6'4, 12 stone and doesn't snap people in half, so he wasn't quite Pulis' cup of tea.

I'm guessing either there was a falling out or that Pulis was expecting him to sign at the end and Tom made clear he wouldn't so Pulis dropped him. I know Pulis was harping about what an exceptional talent he is and how much he hoped he'd sign on and stay at Palace at the end of the season.

Ince Snr will want to get his son:

1. A big fat salary
2. PL/European football
3. Plenty off game time

With our small squad and the Tribunal fee being low (which it will be) he'll get all 3.

We'll I had a sneaky £20 @ 10-1
It moved to 6-1 after I did it
Then went to 5-1

A bit of money must have gone on it, can't have just been me?

Edit: with betvictor

feel a bit uneasy about this one, not about Tom ince the player, but his father who is his agent(were have we heard that before)he's been touted all over Europe, but now he's decided he want's to play in the PL,it would appear club's are not falling over themselves to sign him, is this Ince senior, trying to play clubs off against each other for a big payday, he is a good player no doubt about that, it just the thought of Ince snr ,hanging around in the wings that bother's me.

So much supposition here.

Everyone thinking they know what his team want.

Only thing that strikes me is he has spoken to us. As he has spoken to a lot of clubs I am not reading much into it.

The rest of the stiff about playing clubs off for a pay day is speculation at best. He may just be looking for footballing reasons?

He fits our style of olay so that goes for us, though.

I tend to agree. I think even if he did come, Daddy would be sounding out new clubs during every future transfer window.
