I rather fear that there are going to be more than a few cheeky punts, before this Summer is out, my friend.
The news appear to be that the Goons cannot afford to trigger the buy-back clause, so it looks as though Fab will be going elsewhere. Personally, I'd rather it was United (assuming we cannot afford him), although I suspect that he'll end up at either £ity or Chavs.
Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku, 20, has told Chelsea that he wants to quit Stamford Bridge this summer. (Source: Daily Telegraph) Well done, Lulu! Tell The Smug One and Mad Dog to sling their hooks. I'd love for him to come to us. He's the next Drogba (except without all the diving and falling over).
This was expected. He is coming in to his own talent wise and we cannot expect him be content with being loaned out to a different club every season while we dither over what to do with him. Seriously doubt we would sell him to anyone in the PL though.....he will likely go abroad. Dont think there would a shortage of suitors either. He is a good player, Jose doesnt seem to like him for f**k knows whatever reason. p.s Whats Mad Dog?
haha oh yeah I remember! Still trying to make that stick? LOL
Well, I rarely ever refer to your owner by his actual name, and everyone seems to know who I'm talking about. The only thing that bothers me about the whole thing is that your owner would undoubtedly think "Mad Dog" was a cool nickname; that's how mad he is.
Like with Mata? As we've seen already, Chelsea can't keep buying for the first team and hording young talent at the sametime and Premier League clubs are better equiped than most so if the highest bid comes in from a PL club I would expect they'll have it accepted. Selling to an English club could be the difference between signing your first choice target and the second or third choice. Whilst FFP hasn't exactly forced you to be a normal club I think you are starting to show signs of some level of fiscal responisbility.
Possibly, but only if it is considerably higher imo. Like I said too, I dont think there will be a shortage of suitors overseas. He is generally regarded as one of the most promising young strikers around. Its a shame we cant find a place for him because he is one of those players who could well come back to bite us in the ass.
If Lulu wants to stay in the Prem, that's where he will stay. What Mad Dog wants will not enter into the equation.
Who says he wants to stay in the PL? He hasnt said anything about that. And of course if no PL clubs make a decent offer for him then he wont be sold to one. You are making up a load of hogwash
As much as I'd love us to sign Lukaku, i can't see it happening. - not after Levy prevented Chelsea from getting Modric.
