And of course if no PL clubs make a decent offer for him then he wont be sold to one. <doh>
You are making up a load of hogwash

It's only "hogwash" if you truly believe that no Prem club will make a decent offer for him. I'd be extremely surprised if we did not.

We will probably get offers from both Spurs and Everton I would imagine.
The part that was hogwash was the completely unfounded and made up suggestion that Lukaku wants to stay in the PL, when he has stated no preference one way or another.

The part that was hogwash was the completely unfounded and made up suggestion that Lukaku wants to stay in the PL, when he has stated no preference one way or another.

His silence is, for me, the greatest clue that he wants to stay put. Why rock the boat by suggesting a move abroad?

I've no doubts that Chavs would love him to want a move abroad, but I'm hoping that he wants revenge, and the best way to get that against Mad Dog is to do the exact opposite of what the moon-faced twat wants.

Manchester United will listen to offers for midfielder Marouane Fellaini and are prepared to offload the 26-year-old for £15m having bought him for £27.5m last summer under former boss David Moyes.
(Source: The Times)

This ought to alert Fat Sam.

Sad thing for Fellani is that Everton won't be interested.

If only this could stand as a lesson to all greedy footballers who would sell their loyalty for easy money; but it won't.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has laughed off speculation linking Arsenal with a £20m move for winger Lorenzo Insigne, 23
(Source: Evening Standard)

I'm sure this won't be the first time that Arsenal get laughed at, this Summer.

Newly promoted Queens Park Rangers are considering making Manchester United central defender Rio Ferdinand, 35, the highest paid player at the club with a salary of up to £80,000 a week.

It's good to see that 'Arry is still keen to invest in youth!

I can see Arry signing up a fair number of his god-children and 'triffic family men'
this summer, if the QPR owners accept the transfer/wage costs.

Their priority is not to yo-yo, so Arry will try and sell the story that the
above will prevent that happening.

Jack Colback has left Sunderland on a free to sign for... Newcastle. <doh>
I think it's fair to say that the Mackems are unimpressed.

He spent 16 years with his former club, having joined when he was eight years old.
Ginger and a Judas. Now there's an unpopular combination! <laugh>

Carlos Vela, 25, wants to stay at Real Sociedad, rather than return to Arsenal, according to the Spanish club's president Jokin Apperibay. (source: Sky Sports)

Ouch!

March 2014 Vela says:
‘I’m open to the idea of going back to Arsenal, Arsenal could buy me back for £3million – a million more than Real Sociedad paid for me. I like being where I am for the moment, but I think I’m ready to try other things. I’m more mature, I’ve changed my way of thinking and I’m open to anything.’

May 2014 Vela says:
"Arsenal can come back for me at €4 million (£3.3m) at any time, which is €1 million more than Real Sociedad paid. I look at things differently these days and I won’t close the door on Arsenal"

June 2014 Apperibay says:
'We are fortunate that the player is keen to stay in San Sebastian with us and that's an important factor for Real Sociedad,'

Someone's telling porkies.

Anyway, I've got a counter-quote to diss Spurs with for no real reason...

Di Maria: "It hurts when you’re always doing your best for your club and then you hear that you might be going to Tottenham"

Ouch :p

The context of the Di Maria quotes is obvious, ignore it if you want, no one here cares.

Oh come on, moderators of all people should be above the contradictory 'no one cares' line.

But I even claimed it was a pointless diss comment with no substance, just a reactionary retaliation to the Vela comment... I'm not actually here to genuinely annoy you :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Real or fake? 4 was Luiz's number, so who knows?

Well that didn't take long, it's real:

http://www.chelseafc.com/news-article/article/3900839/title/fabregas-signs-for-chelsea

Painful for the Goons, I think.

Ouch! Ozil, Ramsey, Wiltshire and Fabregas is a much better sounding central midfield pool than Ozil, Ramsey, Wiltshire and Arteta. Will Ramsay continue to impress next season? Will Wiltshire manage three games in a row without injury? Will Marty Feldman actually play to a high level for an entire season or will he continue to transform into Pointy-Shouty Man? Obviously Wenger has his eye on someone else to strengthen their midfield.... wonder who it is?
