That's where I'm thinking he'll go. Can't see him moving too far from Christine, certainly not abroad.
Lampard was linked with the new New York side at the same time that David Villa was. The Spaniard has since joined them as their first ever player.
Fulham have released Brede Hangeland, despite the fact that he had a year left on his contract. What's that about?
I joked that we should have been interested in him, but hes a classy defender and QPR should sign him, him and Dunne (who wouldn't play every week) would have games where they put in performances to see out wins or valuable draws. Now I've said that, Dunne and Hangeland to keep us at bay next season!
As a goalkeeper, I' m a bit fussy who I wold like in front of me and Hamgeland is a bit too unpredictable in the air for my liking. I remember Barry Fry talking about Liam Daish, his CB at Birmingham. He said "if a 747 came into the penalty area, Liam would just head it away". That's how I like my CB's to be, which is why I am not keen on Hangeland, and prefer Dawson to Vertonghen.
He's probably on a sizeable salary for the championship, though you'd think that they could get a couple of million for him from someone.
I always thought Hangeland was very good in the air. If anything the problem's more that he turns like a 747 on the ground.
Pique's been caught on camera telling Del Bosque that Fabregas leaving Barcelona is a done deal. €33m. Marca are claiming that he's already had a medical at Chelsea and agreed terms. Should go down well with the Goons.
If he is making a premier league return, it doesn't matter where he goes. - As long as it's not arsenal, it'll be hilarious.
Others are saying that Pique knew what he was doing and only winding up the media. I haven't seen any footage, so I can't comment
I'll have to book into the cock clinic again if Fab goes to any Prem club other than Arsenal. After he, their captain, deserted them for Barca (his boyhood dream club), most of the Gooners (including all the usual numpty suspects) were giving it large about, "oh, well, yeah - he'll come back to the Gunners, cos he loves us, etc." We all knew it was complete bollocks. The bloke had demonstrated his contempt for the club by refusing to even show up for their last game. No way was he ever going to be showing up at The Library ever again! What's going to be interesting is the reaction that these same Gooners give Fab when he turns up at The Library in a Chelsea/United/West Ham/whatever shirt, bearing in mind that they had, up to this point (and probably still, knowing some of those numpties) clung so desperately hard to the dream that he'd, one day, return in an Arsenal shirt. I'm banking on comedy gold.
I've seen some Goons claiming that they had "first refusal" if Fibreglas returned to the PL. If so, and he does go to Chelsky, will we have the first "Wenger out !!!" of the new season ??
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cp1uCYu6g8o Does look like a wind up in fairness, both smirking. I would like us to get Cesc purely for the reaction some of the goons would give.
"I would like us to get Cesc purely for the reaction some of the goons would give." They are already in meltdown at the mere thought of it. Having a summer of that and then no buy, would be far more of a laugh than actually buying him now.
One cheeky article has suggested that we, the mighty Spurs, are putting in a £30 million bid for him. Okay, so I know it's pure bollocks, but just imagine if we did buy him! I doubt I'd leave that cock clinic alive.
