But the wages have to be right, that way he's becomes a saleable asset. Hope he's been give no more than 20k-25k a week. No way he'll be on the 40k a week he was said to be on. Nobody on the planet would pay him that much again. Squad player for teams of our level, he wouldn't have brought you much.

Well you're dealing with Levy so chances are that he'll want full whack and draw it right out to get top pennies. Hate Levy me, pure **** to deal with.
You have to admire him for just how tough he is though. If he was batting for your club you would think differently.
But for a player they dont want anymore £5m is a fair price to both clubs.
£8m seems to be the price most often quoted and the rumour is we're trying to get him and Dawson for £10m, but it's all just Chinese whispers at the moment.
talksport and sky sports news radio are both saying that Hull City boss SB has £25m to spend this summer. So no wonder that Levy wants to get as much as he can for his players. He needs to trim the Spurs squad and release funds for his new manager.
