OK Lammy it will have to be N4

Any idea of a row number that's above the goal as I don't want view
Spoilt by cross bar , goal post or goal net

Thanks .

Castro....

Come in N4 and we can start Hull City Ancient Ultras .

:-)

We'll show these young uns how to sing...

:-)

10 rows back plus another couple for luck should do it - so that's row L or M

Im hoping the North stand becomes a very loud area and then with the away fans in between the other half of the East then E4/5 to E11 hopefully will really get behind the lads and it will create a much better atmosphere, i think a lot depends on how full the North stand gets

So, how will Steve Jordan be forced to do his cringeworthy introductions if we've away fans in North and East?

I reckon, good afternoon west and diaspora
good afternoon south
good afternoon half of east
good afternoon away fans
**** you Allam outers.

That does my heading.

We should have done away with that 10 years ago. So cringe worthy.

Im tempted Filey Because i lke to sing and get behind the lads, at the moment i am in E6 and the fans around me are great we have all been together since the KC opened, on a good day those around me join in with the lads in E1 to E3 but not all the time which we should so i am debating. I think if the north stand becomes a really good singing area then others will follow. I am in that in between mode on whether to join the singers or stay with the fans i have got to know and get on well with and hope with having the away fans near us getting on our nerves that it will make the one,s left in the east to help the north stand lads out and sing more. I think it might be a case of seeing how it goes this season

Sat in a hotel room in Dundee (someone’s got to be.) and catching up on the conversations and opinion. Here is mine:

As much as I have totally disagreed with both the principle and the dishonest delivery of the owner’s name-change campaign, I do agree that he has the right concept of running the club as a business with considered controls. In the name-change he has failed to adhere to his own most fundamental business concept and that is very disappointing and equally infuriating.

These seating changes cannot avoid disappointing and upsetting current pass-holders who will be affected by the changes; to balance it, in some way, there will be those who will take the opportunity to improve their current position. The club is trying to address much repeated criticism of the poorly placed away support and the (supposed) feeble attempts at singing; not everyone is as concerned at this as others and, as an educated guess, I would think they are predominantly the premium priced ticket holders.

The main protagonists on this thread are, generally, the same ones who have been critical of the two points the club is trying to address, so it hard to be totally sympathetic as the club, as any business, sometimes needs to make a decision and not get bogged down in consultation. The club’s poor performance over the name-change has simply given folk a stick to hit them with, which is a pity.

The points about stadium acoustics are a bit of a red-herring; I’ve sat in different home and away seats at a variety of grounds and, to be frank, none of them are great when the support isn’t. If you and those around you are noisy, you will struggle to hear the rest. There is only so much the club can do.

Out of all of this I do feel sorry for those pass holders who might not have complained about the location of the away fans and might not be too bothered about the singing, but they now find that, although not been told to move, they have been given the option as they are having the away support imposed on them – it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.

I think that if folk make the best of it and let time and a season or two develop it, then it will prove to be an improvement.

Fez, I think the only thing that is wrong is the timing. The lads/lasses in the East stand should have had more time, but I do think the move will improve things overall.

Yep.

It's given people no time whatsoever to organise with neighbours to transfer together where they're going to go.

That's probably the owner's intention.

Bloody ticket office was shut due to power cuts this afternoon.

Talking to Two blokes who said they were moving to the north stand from the South stand if they could

If your in e1 e2 e3 and plan to move to the north stand I'd get your seat booked as soon as you can or there might not be any seats left if fans from other areas want to move.

It could be chaos.

Flaskers might infiltrate the North Stand turning it into a rowdy flask stand.

" Wave your flasks in the air "

E1-E3 get first dibs, no-one else can move there yet.

No. Rovers usually get the North Stand and parts of West Upper I was told today. They also have mixed sections.
There is technically segregation but away colours in the home end aren't banned and you can have a beer in your seat. Its weird because the same kc rules are printed on the ticket but not enforced. Reckon it will adjust to match city when season tickets renew

The more I hear about this the more I think we're going to be underwhelmed.

I think plenty of people will go to the North stand but changing it all round just to clain half of the stand behind the goal is ridiculous. I also think the East will be as silent as the West and South next season.
