More or less a fess up that money changed hands, ignore report saying too hot, next one in death valley?
Honest mistake. Could happen to anybody with a wad of 50's forced into their jacket pocket.
Yeah right!
How about the world cup in Russia ?
I can see that one working out wonderfully as well - maybe they can co-host it with Ukraine as a gesture of goodwill?
Corruption doesn't come any more blatant than the last World Cup vote.
But no one will grasp the nettle and push it through the courts. Probably cos, whoever could prove that corruption would have been involved in previous decisions and would lose everything they'd gained.
I think it just might mate, first sign of platipus running scared, mi5 will bum him i reckon
FBI also involved now
More starting to surface now.
`In March, Telegraph Sport revealed that former Fifa vice-president Jack Warner and his family were paid millions by a company owned by the former Fifa executive committee member for Qatar.
Further disclosures revealed that the daughter of a former executive committee member had more than £2 million put into her account, and a senior Fifa official’s son was given a job at a private Qatari hospital shortly after the decision to award the country the World Cup. `

Correct, it's the 'Emperor's New Clothes' isn't it?
What really sickens me is that our spineless blazers, like Brooking & Dyke, turn blind eyes to the corruption.
As long as they have their noses deep enough in the trough they'll allow the likes of Blatter to churn out his lying bullshit.
Now Blatter says pressure was put the committee to vote for Qatar by France and Germany `for trade reasons`.
He`s starting to wriggle.
Apparently Blatter himself voted for Australia. Very sensible if he knew they weren`t going to get it. Kept himself out of it nicely.
He's going down and he knows it

That's been known about quite a while now. Isn't he that guy from the Caribbean who was sacked for corruption? Looks like they thought he'd be the sacrificial lamb for the rest of them, but now the chickens are coming home to roost!
About time!
