Arsenal already have their open deck bus painted with Arsenal FA Cup Winners 2014.

I think more people would not go if it was on a Monday night than a few staying over on the Sunday. It was fairly obvious that they would do the parade on the Sunday, for the play off final it was held the next day wasn't it? Didn't hear many moaning then.

Yes, no other team has ever held a victory parade the day after a cup win, have they?
One day people in Hull will start acting like residents of a city and not a little village.

If you look at the photo the bit saying winners is a different colour and could quickly be altered to read runners up.

I bet you used to dream of the day City had a parade culminating in an appearance on a balcony in the city centre like other clubs elsewhere, and indeed our rugby clubs, have had after a Cup win Now people will not have that pleasure. It is a crying shame.

You think they'll do an open top bus tour if they lose?

    Seriously?

About half the crowd will surely be staying over though. That's obvious. What's wrong with Monday night? There's always going to be some people who miss out but doing it without half the people who were actually at the game seems ridiculous, and the players are going to have to rush home for it.

What the **** is small time about wanting to see it? Surely getting it out the way as soon as possible without half your fans is small time? You must just read every post on here the same because you only have one stock response to everything.

And most of us do it during the day. As above, there will always be one or two who work nights and can't make it or whatever but excluding the people who went to the game is a shambles. There'll be hardly anyone there who's seen the team before.

As I said, there was no problem after the play-off final? I'm sure a lot more than half will be coming home the same day. I'm going on train and coming home on the same night as there will be plenty of others, and also the ones driving down and going home the same night, and of course Tiger Travel and private coaches will all be coming home the same night. A lot more than half.

What time did the play off final kick off?

I just checked, I think the bus tour was on the 26th, the final on the 24th of May.

Maybe not half, I don't know exact proportions but plenty of people will stay over and it's those people who've gone to Wembley that should get to see the parade. There's a cruel irony that you could miss the parade by following the team.

I think the fans should have been considered <ok>

3pm, I don't quite see what difference a couple of hours make, as I said they purposely organised a later train for fans to get home the same night. I don't see a couple of hours mattering too much to people driving down, if you're driving all that way I'm not sure you are going to be that bothered about it being a couple of hours later. Considering last time they did it the day after the play off final I think it was pretty obvious they would do it the day after, like any other club would.

Are you staying Sunday night as well? No? Then I'd find out what time you have to vacate your room. 10am you say? Why it must be that **** Allams fault that, he's in league with hotel chains.......

Loads of teams have done it on the Sunday without all this fuss. No doubt if it was on a Monday people would be moaning that it interrupted people getting home from work, they couldn't go because they had been at work, it interferes with the kids tea time, harder for all the out of town fans to get there on a working day...there will always be something to moan about...

Real Madrid flew home after their Spanish Cup win and had a victory parade at 4 in the morning. I bet there was less whinging about that.

Seeing as after over 50 years of support which included all the bad times not arriving in the good times or stopping going and starting again when AP arrived I can't go because of an accident forgive my lack of sympathy for any moans from people who will be at the game.

The biggest thing to grumble about is that a traditional parade culminating on an appearance on the balcony in the city centre, which many of the long time fans have spent decades dreaming about won't happen. Though no doubt there would have been moans from people as they couldn't sit down like they do at the KC, their mother in law, old uncle, grandad or whatever couldn't stand, the large crowd would be frightening for their delicate little kiddies and a host of otherbthings.

I'm on one of those National Holidays jobs, so we leave when they decide we leave, and I think we'll be back late Sunday night.

Agreed, but if you miss it either way then it makes little difference. I agree with you about moaners for reasons such as work etc. There'll always be a minority who can't make it at any time. My complaint here is that it will surely be a large proportion of the people who go to the game that can't make it. This seems to be the worst possible time for the fans who go to the game and also the players who'll want to be in London celebrating, not dashing off home.
