Clayton has my vote if he regrows the beard and dies it yellow and green http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ield-Town-midfielder-raises-3000-charity.html
Joined the team in the states for preseason last year didn't he? I know that was because Turner and Bassong were injured but it indicate he was well thought of.
I think we should be concentrating on our midfield, we need to get the service right, our defence needs work as well though. What midfield players out there should we be looking at?
Of the latest 3, I'm not sure but I'd love to see Carlton Morris given a go along with Loza and the Murphy's. Presumably Declan Rudd will come back into the fold this season and Remi Matthews will go out on loan.
Unless Ruddy or Bunn leave I can't see why we'd bring Rudd back, he wouldn't get any game time here. I'd rather both our young keepers go out on loan again
Not sure if anyone read what John Ruddy said about England omission. He said to Roy Hodgson he feels he made a mistake leaving him behind. And you can't argue when you think John Ruddy has only had one less clean sheet than Joe Hart and has been in every squad in last two years (unless injured) as well as working with England's goalkeeping coach every day. I think he has a right to feel pretty hard done by. I love what he's said about his position this summer. He's made it pretty clear he is happy to stay and credit has to go him because the fact Norwich went down probably paid a part in his omission. Top bloke, and will be integral if we manage to keep him next year.
Fella at work read that interview as if Ruddy was throwing his dummy out the pram and that such "venting of his anger" would put an end to his future England prospects. It upset me that a neutral could think such absolute bollocks, I think it's a superb interview and if anything is being vented it is his disappointment at not being able to be part of the national squad, something that fills him enormous pride. I don't see how anyone can take that as a negative, if I were he I'd be far less diolomatic and just come out and say how ****ing pissed off I was! Good on you JR, you should definitely be on the plane ahead of Ben sodding Foster in my opinion!
Someone who's disappointed that he doesn't get to represent his country verses someone who turned down the chance in the past because it wasn't on his terms. Personally I think once you retire you're done it has to be a serious choice and not just not feeling like it but I might later. Personally if i got the chance to play for england I'd never retire, there wouldn't have to pick me but I"d never take my hat out of the ring.
Watching the EL final and noticed that Mbia is there, on loan from QPR. Not the only player they've loaned out (Remy), presumably the players have accepted this loan with the only way QPR can recall them is if they get promoted. Do you think our board might risk something like that with, say, Fer?
He was just about their only decent player IMO. I thought it was just the complaining that he was lazy and a mercenary (which are probably both absolutely true) but that doesn't stop him being classy. Had a good season at Sevilla. Admittedly it sounds unlikely that he'll return to QPR by the looks of things and may be just that his wages were prohibitive...
It's a possibility, and there's already been some talk of RvW being loaned out so I wouldn't rule it out. Might be a good way to keep hold of a decent player who can come back into the squad should we get back up.
I see Leroy has made the provisional 30 man Dutch squad, I can't imagine him making the final cut however
Yeah, I looked at the list of players and thought the same thing. Unless Schneider or de Jong have deteriorated or are very unfit, Fer will have to get quite lucky...
Tettey has said that he wants to play at the highest level and supposedly will be training with Rosenberg this summer... If it's true then we won't be seeing him in a Norwich shirt again as he's out of contract this summer isn't he??
