I thought there was an option in his contract to extend, but presumably it requires agreement from both parties, not just he gets an extra year if we want him.
 
What's the source for that story?

He'd be very good in the Championship so lets hope we can keep him.

I really hope he is staying because he's ideal for that role, particularly in the Championship.

He's a must keep in my book, great player for us.

judging by his reaction when he left the field on saturday he wasn't happy

just to add to that, i think the club extended his contract by 12 months in january so we would be in line for a fee. in my opinion injuries have blotted his time here but i agree it would be a big plus if he stayed as i think he'd totally boss the championship. for me, the player we simply have to keep is hooper because he almost guarantees 20+ goals at that level
 
I read this story on Tettey yesterday and it seemed like a 'come and get me' ploy. But he did also go on to say that it depends on who the new manager is.

For me he is a must keep, he would destroy the championship!

Really hope he doesn't go. Very good DM who could easily control the midfield. In the championship. That'd allows us a lot of attacking freedom.
 
Not sure if it's been pointed out elsewhere, but I think Snoddy got POTS.
 
I am hoping that Snoddy does move on. Not because he is not good enough, more that if we play to him and his strengths we are far too slow and any decent defense can nullify our attacks. Redders and the Murphy boys will be awesome in the championship. Any news in u.k. about us being in for Adam Clayton from Huddersfield.
 
Not sure why people are convinced our players are going to run riot in the championship, not like they did well in the prem!
Most will probably find their level.

23 yr old CB who has just won promotion from Ligue 2, apparently interesting us, Palace and Brentford - a slightly odd mix!

I can't see any rumours being more than idle paper talk until we've got a manager in place.

Sounds an odd mix, but then two Championship clubs and a lower Premier League club is not that unusual wanting to take a punt on a young player. Could be a replacement for Bassong? But agreed that unless Neil Adams is going to be in charge of transfers, any rumours now should be met with scepticism.
