Wjat is the nature of these groin injuries that they last several months/ most of the season?

I thought we'd have heard more of the "Terrible news- he's got a xxxxx xxxxx, that means 4 months out'

As I remember it, first it was 'his head's not right, he told us he was ready but he wasn't' and that was last October.

I agree it's confusing, I was told his head wasn't right earlier in the season. That was when he had a baby on the way and some other stuff going on. The observant among us will have noticed that baby has now been born and was carried around on dad's shoulders post-match yesterday.

Personally I believed Bruce when he said in January that Brady's latest injury was completely separate to his previous ones and the result of a freak accident.

But never seems to get mentioned.......curious.

Another player we've turned into Maradonna since being injured. He scored, what, three penalties. Harsh maybe but they were just penalties

We missed Brady so much when he got injured we tried so many players on the left and none where half as good as what he is , class player and I for one can't wait to see him fit and firing next season

He got a groin injury after coming back from his hernia op, came back briefly and then got another, unrelated groin injury sustained in a freak training accident by standing on a football. It's three separate injuries.

That's what Bruce says anyway, he could have made all that up but why?

Perhaps, like most managers, Bruce protects the integrity and well-being of the team.

on the form Brady showed in his most recent outings he shouldn't even qualify for a place in the squad.

It would be an incredible gamble if Brady were to play - even coming off the bench. Also what message would that give to the likes of Boyd and Quinn who are already match fit if a recovering from injury Brady was in front of them in the pecking order?

The message that he's a much better attacking player and offers so much more in terms of causing arsenal problems?

A fully fit Robbie Brady, yes - totally agree. But a half fit Robbie Brady is a liability and should not get into the team ahead of other players that are match fit and aren't going to need substituting after an ineffective 25 minutes.
