Clyne and Lallana in Garth Crooks' team of the week. Lallana in ahead of Davis, Wanyama and Cork? Shows that he obviously didn't watch the game.

Does he ever watch the game? I'm not entirely convinced that he even likes football.

It's normally done based on whoever scored, I'm not sure why he's gone Lallana other than he's flavour of the month. It's normally quite funny, but it's like Lawro's predictions, you can't take it too seriously.

Interesting stat in the article though that Clyne is on 7 assists, that's really good considering how little he has played this season.

I don't think there's a pundit, bar say Steve Claridge or Lee Dixon, who actually puts a huge amount of work and research into what they do. Garth Crooks is no different to many of the others, but he seems to wind a few people up. He doesn't bug me because 1] He was a very good footballer in his time and his opinion carries some authority, and 2] he at least thinks about what he says, rather than trots out the smug comment. OK, so he sees the odd thing from a different angle occasionally. So what..?

It's only interesting to me in that I'm interested where he gets his stats from, because he has 4. <laugh>

He also said only Gerrard has scored more goals from midfield than Adam, because I guess he thinks Yaya Toure is a striker or something.
