Totally agree. How quick some footballers are to rub fans noses in it. Used to like him, but he's just another agent riding wantmore.
Wait until Yaya's statement before judging. He might have been feeling unappreciated at work for some time. It's important to surround yourself with friends, and if he's just making that a priority then good on him.
Fair enough Joe, but did you see the interview with his agent? The only way he can turn this around in my view is if he comes out and says the agent was talking tosh. My heart is hardly bleeding for him right now. There is a difference in my view, between being appreciated as a valuable asset and being pampered like a little princess; I may be judging too soon, but right now he sits in the latter category for me after seeing that interview. I'll edit this and say that if there has been any really bad 'disrespect' of Toure by the club, then I have it wrong. The talk of no flowers for his wife/mum didn't install that belief in me though.
I wonder how the City fans are taking this? I guess they'll do the same as Utd fans did with Rooney over his "I want to leave" bollocks last year. That is, quickly forget it when the increased £ contract is announced. I really hope Toure stays, just think of all the fun opposition fans can have at his expense. How about dummy day at St Marys - We could all spit them out at a prearranged signal. Or we could just throw cake at him.
Well the Spurs fans keep drivelling on about how they don't want Pochettino because he's not a "proven winner" - they're welcome to Neil. He would fit their requirements...
Moyes being investigated for assault. http://www.itv.com/news/2014-05-22/...f-assaulting-man-during-lancashire-bar-fight/
I am prepared to bet that the injured party probably deserved it. Walked up to Moyes having a quiet drink and gave him some lip and got a shove. Immediately cries foul. Of course, Moyes could have walked up to a complete stranger who was sipping an OJ whilst out with the local vicar and glassed him. I know which one I will go with.
Aston Villa have sacked their assistant manager and head of operations....is this connected with the suspected drug issue?
Don't think so Fran, believe that was Leeds. These two were suspended back in April and the sacking is after their internal investigation. I am not sure why.
What I found interesting was that the police carried out an investigation... into whether the CCTV cameras were paid for by club funds, not into the actual drug use and supply. Priorities!
