£10 million for Adebayor would be value, we won't pay the wages, but in terms of the clubs profile, a signing like this would be enourmous.

Adebayor is a rich man's Kenwyne Jones - Undoubtedly more talented but just as lazy particularly when things don't go his way - It may signal the right intentions from the club but I'd give it about 3 months before the fans turn on him when he doesn't get the free-kicks he did at City, Arsenal etc. and he starts moping around.

There's not a chance that Adebayor will want to come to the North East - we've seen it time and time again with big name strikers (apart from when we got Tore Andre Flo and he was ruddy awful). I want to forget who Darren Bent is.
