Though I'd like Aspas sold, probably no club would come to us with a substantial offer. And even so, Aspas might not want to budge. Loaning him on the other hand is problematic as he will be 27. Usually too old to be loaned out, as what's the point when development has been completed. So, we might be stuck with the asp I'm afraid.

Borini - I say sell him too. Similar to Aspas in style. Much running, little product in the form of goals or assists or defensive work. I hope Rodgers cashes on him whilst he can get a decent deal.

Gareth Barry is 33 <ok>

It seldom happens and it's a bit of a shame though, isn't it? Both the club and the player know that a transfer would be the sensible thing. But because the club can't find the deal to satisfy the player, they end up loaning the old man out.

Exactly mate, and us when he didn't give Suarez a pen even though Eto'o' had literally just wiped him out in the penalty box.

Or when Eto'o wasn't shown a red card in the first couple of minutes against us

Its a bigger game than it was this morning now, there is kind of more hanging on it.

5 pt.lead with 3 to play if we win.

Bonkers <laugh>

Only until City beat West Brom on Monday, then back down to 3 points (if we win that is #nojinx)

The only difference today's result make for us:

Assuming we beat Norwich; If we beat Chelsea they would be eight points behind with two to go and mathematically out of it

If both we and City win we will retain our six point lead over them and five over Chelsea surely?

That's true. Got confused.... I'm sort of assuming they will win their game in hand which means they are in theory only 3 points behind. Can't be banking on them losing anymore points between now and the end of the season.
