First two names on the team sheet next season for me and the other positions are completely up for grabs. They are integral to our team if we have any aspirations next season of bettering our tenth place finish.

Without this duo I fear we are simply another Stoke, Wolves or Blackburn (No disrespect) so hopefully we can keep them fit, although Gyan will be off for the African Cup of Nations so we need some cover for then.

Larsson, Westwood etc are all good sqaud players but will never be as important to the team as these guys when it comes to changing the course of a game and therefore are the cogs we should be building our team around.

Well it depends who we sign really, Sessegnon can play behind Gyan as you say but also on either wing and hopefully we get a left winger be it N'Zogbia or someone else then they can both switch wings etc. Not sure if I fancy Larsson in our starting line up next season unless he impresses during pre-season but he is a different kind of winger that Sess so it gives us that other option.

well not to talk in FIFA talk but i see larsson as your more conventional right-midfielder, and sess is a left winger- bit further forwards playing off the strikers. hard to accomodate both but certainly worth a try. if nzogbia signs (please god) then it becomes a completely different story

Yeah well I hope we do sign a left winger because our left flank is very unproductive, selection problems is a nice problem to have though and strengthening the squad is priority. With Sessgnon on the right and Zog or whoever on the left then we have the option of rotating the wingers, which these guys are good at.

When the season finished, i had three players who i wanted SAFC to keep most. One was LFC latest signing, the other two were Gordon (don't think we'll get a replacement as good, inc Mig) and the other one was Sess.

Sess would be the biggest loss to the team, therefore would be my first name on the sheet. The rest is up for grabs.

Note. it took me a while to see Sess as being that good, but as time went by, he proved my doubts wrong.

We all saw his potential in the Chelsea game but the lad had only been in the country a few days and we threw him in as we had nobody else haha, unfortunately Chelsea play brilliantly, as he settled he just kept getting better didnt he, he is the player I am most looking forward to seeing play and who knows what is possible with a full season under his belt, good signing Brucey, well done

Sess/Gyan/N'Zogbia id a formidable trio and easily has a possible 30 goal plus return for next season

I'd be gutted if that was our main strikeforce and only scored 30 goals.

Last season we only scored 45 goals all season. Whereas WBA and the mags got 56, even Blackpool scored 55.

Another reason why we need a top striker, and not all midfielders, playing as forwards.

No mate Im saying these 3 in the side (Sess & Zog on the wings) would provide a lot of goals along with Gyan's striker partner and maybe Craig Garnder in midfield banging them in, this would easily give a healthy goal return.

Now that sounds a lot better...

Still reckon we ain't getting Zog, though.

Me neither haha but he fits the bill we are looking for as a left winger so we always use him as the example, surely we are looking at other left wingers though.

Still with Sess at least we have one of our own little gems!

Sessegnon is a fabulous talent, the like i've long dreamed of seeing in an SAFC shirt.

He is going to be bigger than Julio, Mackem's are gonna be naming their kids after him, i mean it.

He was scoring regularly once settled as well, he could easy crack 10 next season.

Im worried that our forwards next season will Gyan, Bothroyd, N`Gog & Dong.

what will we do when Gyan goes to the ACN or if he gets injured.

According to the grapevine Bruce is
playing everyone at left back next season
with Richardson rotating around all other
positions.
