It's not Ancelotti going berserk, it was the Barca coach Gerardo Martino. What he has to appeal about is anybody's guess???

If the Barca player hadn't tried to put Bale into the stands he could have held off Bale,.
I read that the Real critics said Bale wasn't pulling his weight.Apart from his goals, where would Real be without his assists?
The first medal for Bale(?).Can he help make it 3 for the season........

p.s. I saw on tele that Man City's players,on average, are THE highest paid players in the world. So they should win the PL,the Derby and the Boat Race!!!!!? and everything else that's going......

Jack Rodwell will be enjoying his high wage, being paid a small fortune to train and occasionally be a footballer in his few appearances a season at City!

Maybe he's trying to tell his right-back where he should be?

Who knows? A bit difficult to take on instructions when you've just been skinned by Bale though!

Trying to shove Bale into the crowd seemed to be his major ambition....

Yes, but he would have then tika-taka effed it up.
If he was a PL player he might have got just enough time to put the ball into row Z.

Based on the refereeing decisions he was on the end of last season, the Barca player should've just grabbed his ankles and hauled him to the floor. Bale would've been booked for a dive.

I hope that his ludicrous treatment by refs was not a factor in him wanting to leave. I still can't get my head around why Bale was castigated so much for diving when (1) most of the time he didn't and at no time did Spurs get an advantage from it and (2) there are many other players that dive a lot more and have actually affected the result of a match by doing so. I remember a commentary 5 live were doing not involving Spurs when there was some play acting and instead of picking up the actual player for what happened they used it as an opportunity to (again) have a go at Bale!

Yet the refs can't give enough pens to certain other teams.

agreed. A lot of the photos (including this one) suggest he celebrated in front of the Barca supporters

I saw him do that when they were playing in the champions league - again over things that weren't his side's to appeal.

    Bizarre manager.

    We'll probably hire him next.

    Dean Saunders on Cardiff:
"A lot of damage has probably been done. The owner put some money in and, I'm joking here, but when you look at how high he pulls his trousers up he's going to make bad decisions about other things as well."

Palace 1 nil up in the derby. Pullis is doing OK <cool>

    #20636
  17. Actually, I'm beginning to think you have a point with Pullis.

The one thing, of course, that he has over Big Mick McCarthy is that Mick's been out of the game for a while, whereas Pullis has had his finger on the pulse in the modern game.

    :D

Plus Pullis will be one of your heroes when he stops Liverpool in their tracks. The press have been suggesting Palace will ease up now they are safe but Pullis is also driven by wanting to finish above Stoke so if Pullis ends Liverpools title challenge then he is manager of the year!

Pulis has taken relegation certainties Palace to within a point of his old club Stoke.
I wonder how their fans feel about Hughes now?

West Ham lost, Newcastle continue their record breaking losing streak, Cardiff give themselves a little hope and Southampton sleepwalk towards the summer.

ETA: Pulis has equalled Palace's record of consecutive top-flight wins. Their last five game streak was in 1992.

Pretty happy as Hughes is still on par to finish higher with Stoke then Pullis ever managed and to Hughes credit he has changed their style but I very much doubt Hughes could have done what Pullis achieved in making Stoke an established premier league club as much of what Pullis done there was to ensure their safety, while Hughes has walked in when they needed a change but lets see if he can progress next year.
