It worked for us when we sacked Keane, Ian McParland was appointed caretaker manager and we went on to beat Arsenal 1-0 in the Carling Cup a few days later, never underestimate the effect of a new manager, but as said, possibly the last roll of the dice.

Have you actually looked at our form and fixtures before commenting? We have lost 6 away on the bounce and have the run in from hell. We were dead under Hughton and had next to no chance of anything at Fulham, a game we must win.[/]

His team are more preoccupied with winning the Premier League!

His team are preoccupied with success... does that explain why you know so much about us, Warky? ;)

In all seriousness, if nothing else, I guarantee that 'Our Neyul' will put fire in their bellies and if we do go down we'll go down fighting <ok>

Adams himself said: “To say that I am delighted to have been offered the opportunity of managing Norwich City football club would be a massive understatement. People know what this club means to me, and so it goes without saying that we will be doing everything possible to ensure that we maintain our top-flight status for next season. These final five games will be a huge test for us, and everyone must step up to the mark. But with the full backing of these magnificent Norwich supporters we will have every chance of achieving our objective.”

The board should hang their heads in shame! this is appalling timing, regardless of the current situation, its a massive gamble and last chance saloon, we never should have been put into this situation it was all so preventable. They didnt even have the courage to stick to their guns having decided at xmas he was staying they should have stuck to it IMO.

The reals villains in this have been the board not CH and co, if we get relegated then heads must roll at the top!!

So he didn't mention anything about the Norwich Not606ers then...;)

Who do you want to get rid of, the best chief exec we've ever had? I think the board should have acted sooner, but I can well understand why they didn't.

I have a feeling of disappointment at how the game is these days when such a nice guy can get sacked like this.

At the same time it's exciting and a bit of relief mixed in. Not relief for me but for Chris. It must have been horrible for him and his family this time.

I hope Neil Adams works out but I do think it will. Fingers crossed and I hope Chris is ok because at the end of the day he is a nice, decent bloke.
