Di Marzio - "Arsenal are very close to reaching an agreement to acquire Batshuayi." Says he has a a BOC of 8m, but Liege want 15. The rags and ITKs have already started. ****'s sakes its not even May yet.
Ha ha had come on this thread to post that! I think he's a great player when healthy. That's the issue really, how often will he be available? Still, on account of knowing a few Spuds who love him, and knowing how hurt they were when we signed Sol (seriously, one of them was in the photo on the back page of The Sun chasing his bus!) I'd like to sign him!
You and Kreme are being total tools here. First world class signing we have made in years and after one very productive season you want to sell him off already. Honestly your just idiots. We are only going to improve as a team by adding quality players. Not being impatient children and shipping out the best player we have had in the team since fabregas. Honestly sometimes I just don't understand how logical human beings come to such stupid decisions.
Im not saying we should sell him. Next season will be the one I judge him on, hopefully with Walcott and a pacey striker to play to his strengths. Also I don't rate Reus quite as highly as a lot of you seem to
Absolutely right. Ozil has been the first big world class player we've signed in a long while and selling him after a year would send the wrong signal. Also he's had a pretty good season and will improve next season no doubt. We need to be adding, not taking away our quality.
Ozil's best performances for us have been when he's the furthest player forward. A midfield 3 of Ramsey, New enforcer (bender?) and him should work well, leaves him with very little defensive responsibilities
So does he (and us) Younes Kaboul ‏@YounsKabs4 ·3h I can confirm 100% that the rumour about me joining Arsenal is not true!!! #coys
didn't Sol say the same. also it would pretty stupid of a current Spurs player to state he was jointing Arsenal with 6 games of the season left as he would get crucified
No ****ing way to Kaboul He is a donkey only rivaled by Dawson. He's found his level at the Spuds, we don't need to be scraping the barrel with ****e like him.
Considering Spurs are a top7 Prem team, it's hardly "scraping the barrel." If Verm leaves, which looks fairly likely, he'd make a good 3rd choice, and Wenger does like a bargain, and it would make the fans happy to get one over on Spurs. Provided he's happy to fight for a place, I don't really see how Arsenal could lose with him. With the very settled pairing of Kos & Mert it's difficult to see who will want to move to Arsenal as a CB.
Don't think he's a donkey at all. Quick and powerful, my only concerns would be his injury record and his penchant for the occasional clanger! Oh, and the fact he will have contracted some 'orrible cooties there... Moot point though and probably for the best. Still, it's nice to tease!
Agreed lads, no way is Kaboul a donkey. Just because he plays for Spurs, doesn't automatically make him a bad player. When fit he is a very fine CB and is also a full French international.
Kaboul isn't a donkey just because he plays for Spurs, he is a donkey because he's an overweight cumbersome lump.
