They were Lawrie McMenemy's main outfitters back in the days when I was wearing pullovers that the very lovely Mrs Godders
used to knit for me.
You come across them in France and Belgium as well.
My outfitter of choice was always Jaeger until they left Southampton.
Nowadays I have to rely on mail order.

Their underwear was very popular with women, as they could easily tell which way round they went.
Would be boring if we kept the same kit colour/ design every season just because it's tradition.

Remarkably, "Warrior" who have produced some awful kits for Liverpool, have come up with these two excellent efforts for Stoke next season...
