By "reverse sash" I actually meant a white sash on red shirt. I phrased it badly.
Anyone else get the feeling that we'll get an awesome shirt (stripes for me) then it'll be ruined by a sponsor like Wonga :/

Not Wonga...doesn't suit our image or that of the Leihberrs. I think Krueger mentioned something along those lines...we wish to be associated with companies who share our values. Anyone know any Saintly companies?
Well the consenus of opinoin here is that there is no consensus of opinion. Saints fans seem a mellow lot. I for one have always thought our badge was designed in a kids colouring competition and would be quite happy to see a Liebherr era new version.
Sort of agree with this. Saints fans are an undemanding lot, historically. I suppose it goes with the territory. We've had a similar situation with the original Ted Bates statue. Nobody from the preview group of supporters, at any point said, you know what, I think this statue might not be any good. So it is with the badge. It really does have that cartoon colouring book look about it. I've never been that keen on it, and almost any change to the existing design is for the better. The silver/black look makes it OK-ish, but I'd like a re-design. There, I've said it.
That's quite a nice shirt. On the whole, if I was have an ideal shirt, it would be something that harked back to the Xerox/Keegan era kit, with just a few detail changes. No Addidas 3 stripes, black shorts [with maybe a red/white stripe down the sides, and a squad number, and white socks, with Saints written around the fold over area. The aap3 emblem could even be in gold for all I care, but probably black would be best. I would be looking at something like my favourite Saints kit of all time.
Saw an interesting article on Richard Branson and he was asked for some of his secrets to success. He said there are no secrets, but he gave a few words of advice to any budding entrepreneur or potentially successful person. Aside from the usual work hard ethic, his idea was more work smart, and several other fairly obvious, but very good points.But what really struck me [considering it was him] was that he said DON'T WATCH TV. It's a waste of time and distracts you from spending time working towards being successful.
So the next time Virgin post their newest offer through my door, instead of binning it, I shall reply and tell them I'm taking a leaf out of their owner's book. Course, I have been doing such for pretty much the past 10-15 years, but that has less impact.
Shop from my youth...went the way of Woolies (except some are still open on the continent, I believe). They used to have a clothes factory in Portsmouth where some of my relatives worked...a blast from the past.
I was going to tell you about the C & A store across the way from the old Tyrell & Green store in Above Bar, but this Wikipedia article explains the company better. I didn't know they were Dutch:

They were well known for having rapidly changing stock at reasonable prices...so for a brief time they were red hot with teenagers...then lost their way and became regarded as a cheap old people's store. They didn't really conquer that market, so withdrew to their homeland.
