I'd prefer 7th and Rickie going. I don't see the distinction. Or is it a stipulation you just made up..? If so, I'll take 8th and Rickie. We owe him much more than one finishing position in the PL.

I can see us finishing 7th by over taking Spurs by the end of season! After a thrashing by us tomorrow the downward spiral begins for them Rickie has already upgraded his seat to first class!

The only way we'll get Europa League is through fifth as the other two spots will go to the two FA Cup finalists (assuming Arsenal don't reach the final) or Sunderland and Hull or Sheffield United if Arsenal get to the final. Finishing 7th won't get us into Europe, but it would be great to finish above Man Utd or Spurs. Sadly, we won't get 5th, and probably not sixth either.
