    No he's not. People need to stop confusing his press conference persona with his actual personality. It's futile drawing conclusions about his personality from what he says to the press, or how he acts on the touchline, because every word and action is the product of careful consideration. The famous zoologist and anthropologist Desmond Morris is fascinated with him. Morris notes that you can see from his unusually rapid eye movement during interviews that he's completely overworking his brain, obsessively calculating the situation and what to say. It's no coincidence that he's always at his most controversial after defeats; he's not a sore loser, he's calculatedly drawing the negative attention from the media away from his players and all onto his shoulders. It's all about creating an us vs them gang mentality, and Mourinho is forever willing to sacrifice his own reputation in order to win. I find that admirable rather than embarrassing, I suppose it comes down to whether you value winning or righteousness as more important.

    God knows i'm not Jamie Redknapp's biggest admirer, but just how does a petty, personal media spat help Chelsea win?....No, sorry I just don't like the man's methods and ethics.
