That's what I have put on there, plus the row and seat number. They can then send their heavies up to me at the next home game and evict me in a good Egyptian way

This is spot on. It is important for someone of the Allam's cultural background to be able to save face when they are in a corner. The name change won't happen - the FA won't go against the advice of their own council. Thus having been rejected by the FA, the Allams will not want to be rejected (in their eyes) by the supporters. Since the option most of us want (Yes to Allams but no to name change) is not on the ballot paper I am now struggling with which way to vote. Option 1 is out as I do not want us to be known as Hull Tigers. Option 2 suggests the Allams will walk away IF the majority of pass holders vote "NO" and I don't want that either. Therefore - although I DO CARE - my default position may be option 3. If enough people vote for either 1 or 3 we might just get the result we want without being able to vote for it - The FA ruling that we remain as Hull City AFC and the Allams feeling sufficiently valued by the clubs supporters to continue the (mostly) great job they have done for the club.

The FA decision is NOT a foregone conclusion, but it is a foregone conclusion that the Allams will use any sign of wavering to try to challenge the FA. Voting 2 does not mean you are voting for the Allams to leave. It just means you are opposed to the name Hull Tigers. Full stop.

It's the Allams who have put you in this difficult position through an unfair process, whatever we think about the other good things they've done - ie appointing Brucey and backing him with cash.

Simple if you want to be called HULL CITY and want the Allams to stay then vote Hull City and write at the bottom Plus Allams to stay if you don't want them to stay just vote Hull City but if you really really want the Allams to stay then support Hull Tigers ITS UP TO YOU?

You are the one saying we shouldn't tell someone how to run things.

Then that could be interpreted (and probably will be) as a spoilt ballot and ignored. Better to vote 2 and include separate note/covering letter explaining you don't want them to go if you really have to.

The option of voting for keeping the our current name but supporting to the Allams wasn't an option being offered. Putting comments on the bottom of the ballot, if it's possible, could invalidate your vote unless you know otherwise?

at the end of the day, the Allams just need to sell - they have no credibility and are unlikely to get any serious business wanting to damage their name by sponsoring any name change and after all the pathetic statements from Allam, why would anyone think that having their name linked to them could lead to anything positive - Allam is the Gerald Ratner of football - his only legacy will be success based on a maxed out credit card and massive debts that someone with a little more business acumen will have to sort out - taxi please

no it was all just a thought having had a few cans of guinness its totally up to everyone how they vote it should be hull city or hull tigers simple but as we all know the allams have put a different feel to it which will have made it difficult for some how much do you want to keep us as Hull City or Do You Mind been Called Hull Tigers its up to you? Think about it would you like it to be Hull City because of our history and that's how you would like to be called for ever or do you think as long as Hull is in the name then you don't mind, I know my feelings on it and i will vote tomorrow but everyone has there own mind what ever don't forget once the game kicks off tomorrow we are as one so get behind the lads because i don't know about anyone else one here but i am sick of this name change thing god no's what Steve bruce is thinking

You are typical of the people who have taken over what used to be a good forum to come out with vile comments about anyone who does not have the same narrow minded view that you have. Unlike you, I can put together a sentance withour reverting to childish comments. I shall continue to Support my local football team as one of the silent majority.

So is voting to yes to the name change also narrow minded and the I don't care an indication of indifference?

I feel for those that want the name change but don't want them to stay - they've been proper rubber dicked by Mr Allam's poll.
