That was my point, like today two of my kids who are not pass holders attended but might not get tickets for the semi, however all the pass holders who were absent for whatever reason will get tickets, is that fair?

It usually depends on the ground, some do some, some don't. Fair point about keeping hold of ticket stubs, it would be harsh if someone attended those games, threw the stubs away and couldn't get a ticket!
Depends, I've been to four cup games this season but was one of the absent pass holders today (work commitments). Do your kids deserve a ticket more than someone like me because they went today?

OLM do you know the answer to whether it's Southend or Brighton, or both? My son and I went to Southend and bought through the club, but half-term meant couldn't do Brighton.
Is it fair someone who goes to a couple of cup games gets preference over people who stump up a few hundred quid in advance? Not that not getting a ticket will be a problem. If only 16,000 can afford £20 for a game in Hull surely over 30,000 can't afford to go to London? The only question is one of priorities and for that season ticket holders should get precedence. Just be grateful we aren't one of those clubs with more season ticket holders than tickets. That is a cause of angerband anquish.

Wouldn't city of said something about keeping tickets especially today if it was going to be decided on cup matches attended ? I would be surprised it it isn't pass holders first I just hope they don't give us two each like last time

I have no problem with season ticket holders getting first dibs as long as it's ONE per season ticket, not more as in the past. Then I hope the priority is any one of Boro, Southend, Brighton, and Sunderland, if necessary in descending order.
For ****s sake can everyone on here get a grip! There's enough tickets for all season pass holders and people who went to Southend, Boro,Brighton and Sunderland. If we reach the final there's enough tickets for every pass holder.Everyone gets to Wembley at some point if we get to the final. Not ****ing difficult is it?

And are there enough tickets? What would stop people buying several tickets from those categories (1-Southend/Brighton away, 2-Brighton/Sunderland home, 3-Pass holders, 4-General) OLM suggested meaning there wouldn't be enough later down the line (and then those who bought multiple take people who only fall under the 4th category). Plus there's also a matter of the view you're going to get by how long you have to wait for your ticket.
I drive 500 miles every other weekend and have missed Three home games all season, two of them happened to be in the FA Cup, but frankly how was I going to get back for Brighton anyway!
I think I deserve a ticket as much as the next bloke this football club costs me a bloody fortune

Season-ticket holders should get priority. They contribute more both financially and support-wise than the rest. It should also be restricted to one-ticket-per-pass, unlike 2008.
